2023 Registration

2023 Registration for both our junior Blackheath teams in the Lithgow Competition

and registration for our Mini Roos MKO Program have now closed.


REGISTERING FOR BLACKHEATH JUNIOR TEAMS IN THE LITHGOW COMPETITION FAQ'S


WHERE DO I REGISTER? â€‹

All 2023 registrations are completed online at the Play Football Website.

Registration Is Closed.

Full registration fees must be paid before a player can take to the field. Before you register online it is advisable to have your Active Kids Voucher to hand as this covers most of a junior player's registration fee. Apply for an Active Kids Voucher Here


REGISTERING A NEW PLAYER

Proof of Identity is required for all new players to Blackheath FC before your registration can be approved.

Proof of ID can be the player's birth certificate or passport or School ID with photo and date-of-birth.


FEES

We are increasing the Registration Fee for the first time since 2021. 


$128 for 5-12 year olds ($125 last year) 

$138  for 13-18 year olds ($135 last year)

An Active Kids Voucher covers most of a junior player's registration fee. 



HOW IS THE REGISTRATION FEE CALCULATED?

Registration includes fees from FFA, Football NSW, Western NSW Football and Lithgow District FA including Referee Fees and Club Fees. Blackheath FC will receive approximately $19 of each registration fee.


WHICH AGE GROUP WILL MY CHILD PLAY IN?

The age the player turns in 2023 determines the age group they play in. 

So if the players turns 7 between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023, they would play in the under 7 age group. 


WHEN WILL THE SEASON START?

The season will start in late April 2023. All matches are played on Saturdays at Marjorie Jackson Field, Lithgow.


WHEN IS TRAINING ON?

BFC teams train once a week in Blackheath and play one game a week in Lithgow. Training is at Blackheath Oval.


WHERE DO I GET BLACKHEATH FC SHORTS AND SOCKS?

Blackheath FC shorts, socks and training merchandise are ordered through All Sports Direct here.


IS THERE AN ALL AGES TEAM?

There will be no All Ages, or Men's or Ladies team again this year. We have had limited enquiries as have the teams based in Lithgow.

REGISTERING FOR MINI KICK OFF FAQ'S

WHEN IS MINI ROOS KICK OFF (MKO) STARTING?

MKO started on Friday 5th May, 4:30pm - 5:15pm, and will run for the duration of school Term 2.


IS MKO REGISTRATION OPEN?

No it has closed.


WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN U6 OR U7 FOOTBALL AND MKO?

U6/U7 Football involves a weekly training session at Blackheath Oval and a weekly game at Lithgow versus other clubs. Whereas, MiniRoos Kick Off is held at Blackheath Oval only, and there is no game at the weekend.


WHO IS THE MKO COACH?

This year, Thomas Hanneman (L) and Oliver Easton (R) will be taking the MKO training, ably abetted by their parents who will help with the weekly set up, WhatsApp group notifications, training drills etc. 


Thomas and Olly are excellent footballers with great experience in Rep Football and playing for BFC. 


Although young, they are responsible,  mature and keen to progress the coaching side of their game.


DO WE NEED TO REGISTER FOR MKO?

Yes, you do.


HOW MUCH DOES MKO COST?

Registration fee is $35 for one term.


DO WE NEED BOOTS FOR MKO?

Your child will need football boots, shin pads and football socks.


MY CHILD IS 6 - SHOULD THEY REGISTER FOR MKO OR THE LDFA COMPETITION?

Your child can sign up for U6 football or MKO. It's up to you.

 


Mini Roos takes place in Blackheath only. No weekend games.
